The Dallas scene is heating back up as is the weather. Spring in Texas is one of the best times to dust off those garage neglected cars and attend a local automotive show. For classic cars I recommend the Gasoline Alley events. Their events, located mostly in Northern Dallas, Addison, Mc Kinney, Plano and etc have an assortment of cars.
I've been to several DFW metroplex car shows. So far I like these the most. One, there is an assortment of cars. Even though my car is a 65 K-Code Fastback, I enjoy seeing what else is out there. Secondly, I like the mix of people. Most aren't hardcore Mopar only, Chevy only, or Ford only types. Most surely have personal preferences, but a majority of people who attend these shows enjoy all types of cars. Thirdly, it's a group of people relaxed people. I've attended some events where people are lustfully scrubbing every inch and won't step 3ft from their cars. Everyone cares for there car, but atleast make the car events enjoyable. In my opinion, if you are looking for a fun all around autmotive show, then Gasoline Alley is the way to go.
